For the club Pharmacy Phlowers, there will be a bin at the homecoming dance for the girls bouquets! It is not mandatory to donate your bouquets but it would be greatly appreciated! Donating your flowers will go to making small arrangements to give to hospitals and retirement homes with the goal of brightening people days! There will be a meeting at the outdoor classroom by the middle school gym on Sunday at 3:30 and it will last about an hour! It is a great service opportunity and will be fun! Thank you!!
The Literary Magazine is accepting submissions!
October is the month where the leaves start to change, the temperature begins to drop, and the nights get longer. All of these changes lend themselves to an element of spookiness which is mirrored in the celebration of Halloween at the end of the month. Write a piece:
-
Where a monster is disguised as a character OR a character is disguised as a monster
-
That takes place somewhere that appears normal upon first glance, but isn’t
-
About a fall (this can be the season, an object falling, or a metaphorical fall like a fall from grace, etc.)
The Spanish Club would like to thank everyone for their support yesterday during our empanada sale. We are already planning our next delicious culinary event!

We want to remind you that the Mid-Semester Progress Report (PR1) is coming up on Friday, October 10. Please be aware that any student who receives a grade below 70 in any required course (Math, Science, Humanities, English, and World Language) by the PR1 will be considered at risk of failing, These students will be assigned to a mandatory study hall during free periods and will not be eligible to participate in sports and extracurricular activities for a period of fifteen school days. This means no playing, practicing or traveling with the team, or participating in any extended school activity.
This is a great time to check in on your progress! We encourage you to use the time leading up to PR1 to complete any missing assignments or assessments. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your teachers if you need help!
