Wednesday, Oct. 15:

9th Grade Conferences – your advisor will let you know the time – you are only on campus for your conference.

10th and 11th – PSAT – see information from Dr. Rogers about when you take the test and where you will be taking it!

12th – Some of you are taking the SAT – see information from Dr. Rogers about when you take the test and where you will be taking it! All other seniors – you are free! Yay! No classes for you!

On Wednesday, you may dress in Relaxed clothes:

The Literary Magazine is accepting submissions!

October is the month where the leaves start to change, the temperature begins to drop, and the nights get longer. All of these changes lend themselves to an element of spookiness which is mirrored in the celebration of Halloween at the end of the month. Write a piece:

Where a monster is disguised as a character OR a character is disguised as a monster
That takes place somewhere that appears normal upon first glance, but isn’t
About a fall (this can be the season, an object falling, or a metaphorical fall like a fall from grace, etc.)
