One of our youngest students’ favorite events will take place on Thursday, October 31st! The Halloween Parade! The parade begins at 8:30 in the Harrison Center. The preschool students will board the buses and unload at the Chambers Center then walk back through campus on their return to the Harrison Center. If you are out and about at this time, look for the little cuties!

Learn about admission requirements, explore your college options and more by talking with over 90 colleges from all over the world at the Atlanta Performing and Visual Arts College Fair.
A partnership between NACAC and ArtsBridge Foundation, the free event will take place on Monday, October 28, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.  Arrive at 6 p.m. for the Pre-Fair Workshop

The Athens Academy Tri-M Music Honor Society inducted fourteen new members into its ranks yesterday. Congratulations to senior Brent Chandler; junior Ava Kennedy; sophomores Elliott Brown, Mae Kline, Ingrid Nilsson, and Anya Zalac; and freshmen Sarah Harrison, Emma Hooper, Chamberlain Lunceford, Thomas Meyer, Parker Pape, Kishan Shah, Evan Smith, and Safi Uddin. It is time for the 31st year of programming for Youth Leadership Athens. The application period for Athens Academy students in 10th and 11th grades will be October 1-October 21.
Applications are available online at youthleadershipathens.wordpress.com to download, print, and complete or for students to complete and submit electronically. You may also print the application and turn it in to Mr. Olson or Mrs. Farmer prior to the October 21 deadline.
