NHS signup to volunteer at Family Science Night!
It is time for our annual NHS service project; Family Science Night!! This is such a wonderful ACAD tradition, and a night that our younger Spartans look forward to each year. Remember, this is mandatory for all current NHS members. NHS volunteers will be given a pizza dinner before the event. The event will take place on Thursday February 20 from 6-7:30pm, and volunteers should arrive NO LATER than 5:15pm and plan to stay until 8pm.
This week all current active NHS members will begin receiving an email with a google form to sign up for a station. Please select your top location to volunteer, and the locations will be filled up on a first come first served basis. The invitation to sign up will be sent to Senior NHS members on Tuesday 1/28 and Junior NHS members on Wednesday 1/29. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Neves.

To sign up to help with the Spartan 5K:
Congratulations to senior KJ Whitehead &
junior Josie Collinsfor being named
Spartans of the Week!
“As the only Senior in our program, KJ is our leader! His positive attitude, his leadership and his work ethic are a tremendous example for all of the underclassmen in our program. He is our BEST teammate and he demonstrates all of these attributes on a DAILY basis. It is an honor, and true pleasure, to coach KJ!”
– Don Hurlburt, Head Coach Varsity Boys Basketball
“Josie continues to lead in a positive way through both effort and attitude. She gives maximum effort in everything she does while holding herself to extremely high standards. She is always putting others first and sets a positive example. Josie is a great Spartan!”
