“The Math Club has a new service opportunity for juniors and seniors willing to tutor other students in Math! Students would help out the Math teachers during regular tutorial hours by answering questions and assisting students feeling stuck. The time commitment is completely up to you, and you can help out anywhere from once a month to multiple times a week based on your interest.
While this is mostly an opportunity for juniors and seniors who have already taken Geometry and Algebra II, anyone from any grade who thinks they might want to help out is more than welcome to fill out the interest form here: https://forms.gle/F6cNQ3wCTVPgfzRd6.”

Project Uplift:
  • A new project is starting up at ACAD. The idea is to send upper school friends, faculty, peers an anonymous note to encourage them. Can be anything from something you appreciate about them, to something they taught you, anything you think will brighten their day. We will keep the link open and on ACAD daily for a little over a month, so you have time to think about what you want to say. Don’t send multiple to the SAME person. Maximum 300 characters. Keep it positive. Click here to submit an anonymous message . If you have any questions email @projectupliftacad@gmail.com

Congratulations to senior Clara McLanahanfor being named
Spartans of the Week(Week of November 4):

SOTW 2024-25 (2) 5638947 (1)
“Clara is a dominant force on both sides of the ball. As a linebacker, her exceptional timing and instincts to read the opposing offense allow her to disrupt passing lanes and make crucial tackles. Her relentless pursuit of the ball makes her a formidable challenge for any offense. When called upon as quarterback, Clara showcases a strong arm and excellent timing, whether connecting with receivers or taking off to run. Beyond her on-field prowess, Clara is an invaluable asset during practices. She leads team warm-ups, analyzes game film, encourages her teammates, and maintains a positive outlook. Her great attitude and leadership both on and off the field is inspiring, and her contributions to the team’s success this season are undeniable.”
