Honor Council Nominations

The student-led Honor Council is essential to the proper functioning of our honor system and the strength of our school community. In order to create an Honor Council that is representative of and has the support of the student body, the process for selecting candidates relies on nominations from the members of the class.

First thing on Monday, May 8, you received an emailed Honor Council nomination ballot for your class. Read the instructions to see the number of people you can nominate – select those who you believe possess honor, morality, and integrity, and who have the strength of character to uphold the honor code and act as role models, even in difficult circumstances.

Nominations will close at 4:00pm on Tuesday, May 9.

The election of the members of the Judiciary Board will take place next week.

Bevan Serna - SOTW

Bevan has been a spectacular athlete for our team this season. He shows up at every practice on time and works very hard to better himself and his teammates. I often notice Bevan helping younger throwers with their technique after he has completed his workout. He gives maximum effort at every competition. Bevan is our number #1 discus and shot put thrower. He is mature, confident, and gives of himself for the benefit of the team. I wish I could clone him. – Neville Anderson, Head Coach Varsity Track & Field

Jane Frierson - SOTW

Jane is another spectacular athlete for our team. She shows up on time at each and every practice. Jane has worked to transform herself into one of our best athletes. She runs the 100m, the 200m, long jumps, and the 4×200 relay. I believe that on her current trajectory of improvement in the sprints, she will be considered one of the best athletes in the state in the near future. On our team of stars, Jane holds her own.& she is another athlete I would clone.– Neville Anderson, Head Coach Varsity Track & Field
