Spartan of the Week

Congratulations to senior McKenzie Elrod for being named SPARTAN OF THE WEEK (week of October 5): McKenzie has been such a pleasure to have on the cheer team! Over the past two years, she has been a positive, sweet, and kind cheerleader to any and everyone she has crossed paths with. She is always seeking ways to improve her skills and always helps me with new ideas on how to incorporate more spirit at Athens Academy! Over the past few weeks, I have asked McKenzie to move to new stunt groups and try things she’s never done before. She has tackled each challenge without a second thought, and excelled in each of them! She is so dependable and respectful, and she is an athlete that you just love having on a team. Go McKenzie!!Kelsie Webb, Head Coach, Varsity Cheerleading
