Callie Walton - SOTW

“Callie has been a leader for our girls team this season. She is proof that you do not have to be a front runner, or starter to lead a team. From the start of the season, she has made sure the new and returning runners connect with each other, and as a result we the coaches have noticed an upbeat positive vibe has enveloped the team. She is the locker room presence coaches dream about. – Neville Anderson, Assistant Coach Varsity Cross Country

Thomas Meyer - SOTW

“Thomas has been a quiet hero for our boys team. He runs 5th for our team. This position is extremely important because in cross country where the 5th man finishes is the final determinant of your team score and place. The 5th man has to be a fighter! No matter how tired, he has to pass people! Most of all he has to be resilient!  Thomas has been that person for our team – Neville Anderson, Assistant Coach Varsity Cross Country

Nov. 3:    Voilà!  /vwah – LAH/ – this French phrase (often used by English speakers) is used to call attention to something, to express success with a task, or even to announce the sudden appearance of something, as by magic! It means “ There it is”  or   “And there you have it!”
