Today during second lunch, we will be holding a Career Panel breakout discussion with Mr. Wes Rogers from Landmark. If you are interested in business, commercial development or starting something from scratch…this is for you! Please e-mail Mr. Olson or Mrs. Farmer if you are interested.

A little more about J. Wesley Rogers, Co-Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer:

As President and CEO of Landmark Properties, Wes has overseen the design, financing, development, construction, and operations of nearly $4 Billion worth of new construction student housing. Wes is responsible for establishing and implementing Landmark’s overall corporate strategy. He is very involved in the development and finance sides of the Company’s business, but his hands-on leadership style keeps him engaged in all aspects of the business.

Wes, an Athens, GA native, obtained his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1999 and his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from UGA in 2004. Upon graduating business school in 2004, he co-founded Landmark Properties. Wes was named the 2017 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southeast U.S. in the Real Estate Category.

This year’s Luminaria, which is ACAD’s celebration of the arts, is being held at the Foundry (!!) in downtown Athens.
