Please join 12th Man and our upper school student section in supporting Cancer Awareness Friday, September 27 as your Spartans take on the visiting Towns County Indians. Proceeds from the sale of this shirt will be used to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light The Night Walk taking place Friday, October 25. Clara Miller class of 21 and our student leader for the LLS Club will be leading this walk and representing Athens Academy through her experience with Leukemia and Lymphoma.
This shirt will also be used for our 20th Annual Upper School Service Day. Thank you for supporting Athens Academy, cancer awareness, cancer research, and our community partners.
ORDERS HAVE TO BE IN BY 9:00am MONDAY MORNING! Shirts will be delivered Wednesday, September 25 to your child’s division. The theme for our game Friday, September 27 is Tie-Dye!!
Picture Orders are due back Wednesday, September 11. Picture retakes are on September 11 from 7:50 to 10:00. This is great because you can use your late start time!
Just an fyi, too: If you are considering a re-take, you will only be able to choose between the two new poses (the original poses will no longer be an option for the yearbook or for ordering copies). Once re-take proof sheets are distributed, you will have approximately a week to submit your order. If you do not wish to place an order but would like to use Pose B in the yearbook (rather than the default, Pose A) you must indicate that on the proof sheet and turn it in to Ms. Rorey.
We will have Class Meetings tomorrow Wednesday at 10:40.
