We will begin our Executive Branch of Student Government Elections April 20th. These are the five people you see on stage each Monday morning during school meetings. These positions have certain qualifications and job descriptions which you can find below and here. If you have questions please reach out to Mrs. Farmer.
Student Body President: Senior who has served on Student Government for at least one year
Student Body Vice President: Junior who has served on Student Government for at least one year
Director of Communications: Senior or Junior who has served as a leader in our community
Director of Finance: Senior or Junior who has served as a leader in our community
Director of Events: Senior or Junior who has served as a leader in our community
Candidates should notify Mrs. Farmer by email at bfarmer@athensacademy.org if they are interested in running by Tuesday, April 14. The student body will view virtual speeches on Monday, April 20 with electronic voting also beginning on April 20 and concluding April 21.
Judiciary Board and Honor Council Nominations will be the week of April 27.
17 Ambassador interviews and selection will take place in August 2020.
Class Officer elections for grades 9-12 will take place in August 2020.
The American Shakespeare Center’ s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

This is a special treat for Athens Academy, so enjoy the play with your families, but please don’t share the link outside of our community.
