Service Opportunities!

The 3rd Annual Oconee’s Best BBQ Contest is on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Rocket Field in downtown Watkinsville, Georgia. The free-to-attend community event features over 18 competing pitmasters! BBQ tasting tickets are $15.

We are looking for help from 5:00pm-9:00pm to work at the ticket station and at a kids’ station. WYou don’t need to work the entire time – you can sign up for a shift!

Proceeds benefit Lydia’s Place, a local nonprofit supporting young adults from foster care or housing insecurity.
