Youth Leadership Athens Applications Now Available!

It is time for the 31st year of programming for Youth Leadership Athens. The application period for Athens Academy students in 10th and 11th grades will be October 1-October 21.
Applications are available online at youthleadershipathens.wordpress.com to download, print, and complete or for students to complete and submit electronically. You may also print the application and turn it in to Mr. Olson or Mrs. Farmer prior to the October 21 deadline.

Parade Schedule for this Friday!

7:40-8:10 open car doors
8:10-8:15 prepare for parade in PS lobby (go to PS)
8:15-8:20 walk through PS (K5-K4-K3)
8:20-8:25 walk through LS
8:25-8:33 walk by outdoor classroom & to the MS (through 6th grade building; walkway towards and through Schacht (7th grade outside of Daughtry/5th grade outside of Schacht)
8:33-8:38 walk through trustees, connector, down walkway and towards the walking bridge towards Chambers – parade ends at Chambers (S&A students should gather at Chambers)

This program is open to high school juniors and seniors from Georgia and South Carolina to educate students about some of the many career opportunities within the field of veterinary medicine. They will hear from veterinarians from UGA’s vet school, a guest speaker, and receive a tour of our teaching hospital. The application for VSFD 2019 will be available on our website (https://vet.uga.edu/academic-affairs/vet-school-for-a-day) from Monday, August 5 until Monday, September 2. All application materials must be received by the September 2 deadline. There is no cost to apply to or attend the program.
