Congratulations to sophomore Mason McCurdy &
junior Sloane Turnerfor being named
Spartans of the Week! (Week of October 21):
“The Cross Country team had a strong region meet last week, winning both the boys and girls Championships. However, the strength of the team showed in the JV races where Mason McCurdy and Sloane Turner led the JV teams to a clean sweep as each finished first in their respective races. Congratulations to both of them, and the entire Cross Country teams, on a great Region meet. The future is bright!”

Don’t forget the Bridges Challenge!
Last semester, we challenged the student body to reflect on their views of others/actions towards others with quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. This year, we would like to challenge the student body again to step out of their comfort zone and experience a different perspective/culture during Global Diversity Awareness Month. For the entire month of October visit any of the restaurants, stores and events listed on this document, and log your experiences on this google form. Each form submission is counted as 1 point, points will be gathered by advisory. The advisory with the most points (form submissions) will receive an advisory breakfast from Bridges!
We hope you enjoy exploring the different communities and events in and around Athens, GA!
