We have our Schacht Lecture TODAY. Don’t forget today is a special dress day! Seniors, please do not park in the SA parking lot, we will have lots of special guests. Please leave bookbags in your classroom so they don’t block the entrance of the PH.

We are looking for some people to work the Varsity Boy’s and Girl’s Soccer games this Spring. Our first home game is this Friday, the 22nd. Contact contact Shawn Harding in the lower school if you are interested. It pays $15 per game, and we usually have 2 games a night.

If you’d like to participate in UGA Miracle’s Dance Marathon, come for a BRIEF meeting in the writing center today after the Schacht lecture to get signed up. The event begins on Saturday morning and lasts for 24 hours but you are able to come and go at any time. If you can’t make it and would like to participate or have any questions please contact Mrs. Chester or Vidhi Patel. Hope y’all can come support.

Congratulations to the basketball teams for their 1st Round State Playoff wins Saturday! The teams will play again this week, but away.

Girls – Wednesday, 2/20 – Game starts at 6:00 pm at Mt. Paran – Dismissal @ 12:00 pm – 12:15 Departure.

Boys – Thursday, 2/21 – Game starts at 6:00 pm @ Savannah Country Day – Departure Wednesday @ 4:00 pm. Team will be absent all day Thursday.

Please wish the coaches and players good luck as you see them in class or around campus.

All NHS members volunteering for Science Night should attend a brief meeting at 3:30pm on Wednesday (2/20) in SA105. We will go over some of the basic expectations for Science Night and let you know which station you will be volunteering at. Please contact Ms. Neves if you have any questions.

Members of the Class of 2020 remember to sign up for the Furman Visit on March 27, if you wish to go.

The Spartan Book Club is reading All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr for our March book. Please feel free to join us on March 18 during club time to discuss!

Juniors taking the March 6 SAT on campus: don’t forget the upcoming Wednesday test prep session on February 27 (math) in the Chambers Center Board Room from 8:00-9:00 a.m. February 20 will not be a late start, so there will not be a prep session that morning.

Help Athens Academy Interact Club Ice Out Hunger

Help Interact earn money to host the Rise Against Hunger Event by ICE SKATING AT THE CLASSIC CENTER! Interact will be volunteering to work from 5:00-6:30 on Feb. 20 and will earn money for each skater so come on and let’s make it a big Spartan rink!
