This is a Week 2. Today is a Day 5.

This year’s Luminaria, which is ACAD’s celebration of the arts, is being held at the Foundry (!!) in downtown Athens. It will be on March 6th at 7:30, and the evening will include music, visual art and readings by students. We are still signing up readers.*  If you are interested in reading a poem or a piece of brief prose (2-3 minutes) please contact Ms. Moffett. For anyone and everyone else, please plan to come and support and make the evening in our new location a success!
*Talk to your teachers about supplementary credit that they may choose to offer for your participation.

We are looking for some people to work the Varsity Boy’s and Girl’s Soccer games this Spring.  Our first home game is this Friday, the 22nd.  Contact contact Shawn Harding in the lower school if you are interested. It pays $15 per game, and we usually have 2 games a night.

If you’d like to participate in UGA Miracle’s Dance Marathon, come for a BRIEF meeting in the writing center tomorrow after the Schacht lecture to get signed up. The event begins on Saturday morning and lasts for 24 hours but you are able to come and go at any time. If you can’t make it and would like to participate or have any questions please contact Mrs. Chester or Vidhi Patel. Hope y’all can come support.
